How do I know which treatment is right for me?
The right treatment depends on your skin, concerns, sensitivity, and aesthetic goals. I can help you understand your options and determine an approach suited to your needs
How should I prepare for my appointment?
No special preparation is required for most services. For certain treatments, such as Chemical Peels or Dermaplaning, I may share specific guidance when you book — such as pausing strong exfoliating products beforehand. When in doubt, just ask.
What should I expect at my first facial?
Your visit begins with a brief conversation about your skin, concerns, and goals so I can personalize your treatment. From there, you'll relax while I perform your service, and I'll share any aftercare or at-home recommendations before you leave.
Can I combine treatments in one visit?
Some services pair well together — for example, Bluelight Therapy with professional acne care. Whether a combination is appropriate depends on your skin and the treatments involved, and I can help you plan your visit when you book.
Are treatments suitable for sensitive skin?
Many services can be adapted for sensitive skin, and treatment selection always takes your skin's sensitivity into account. Let me know about any sensitivities, allergies, or products you're currently using so I can recommend an appropriate approach.
Can I receive treatments while pregnant?
Some treatments may not be appropriate during pregnancy. Please let me know if you are pregnant or nursing, and consult your physician before scheduling aesthetic services.

Depending on your skin's needs, the Restorative Facial may include cleansing, exfoliation, a customized mask, massage, and nourishing serums, followed by moisturizer and sun protection.

The 50-minute treatment includes deep cleansing, a decongesting exfoliation mask, extractions, a treatment mask, specialized acne products, lightweight moisturizer, and sun protection. Aromatherapy and massage are also incorporated into the experience.
What is a HydraFacial?
HydraFacial is available as an additional service at Sunset Aesthetics. I can tell you more about the treatment and whether it fits your skin care goals when you book.
How often should I schedule a facial?
Some clients schedule professional facials approximately every four to six weeks. Your ideal frequency depends on your skin, concerns, and goals.
How soon can I expect to notice changes in my skin?
Every person's skin responds differently, so results and timing can vary. Consistent professional treatments and an appropriate at-home skin care routine may help support your goals over time.
Which Chemical Peel is right for me?
The right peel depends on your skin type, sensitivity, concerns, and goals. I offer Gel, Salicylic, and Glycolic Acid Peels and can help you explore the appropriate option.
Will my skin peel after a Chemical Peel?
Visible peeling varies. Depending on the peel and your skin's response, you may experience temporary dryness, flaking, redness, sensitivity, or peeling. I will provide aftercare guidance based on your treatment, including gentle skin care and sun protection while your skin recovers.
What does Microdermabrasion help with?
Microdermabrasion may help improve the appearance of dullness, fine lines, uneven-looking tone, and surface texture while supporting a smoother, refreshed-looking complexion. A treatment typically takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes, and downtime is generally minimal — your skin may temporarily appear pink or feel sensitive afterward.
How often should I schedule exfoliating treatments?
Treatment frequency depends on the service, your skin, and your goals. Some clients benefit from a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart, and I can recommend an appropriate schedule for you.
What is Bluelight Therapy used for?
At Sunset Aesthetics, Bluelight Therapy is primarily offered for acne-prone skin. Blue light can target bacteria associated with acne as part of a professional skin care approach. The light-treatment portion typically takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes.
What can Red Light Therapy do for my skin?
Red Light Therapy is commonly used in aesthetic skin care to support collagen production and a refreshed-looking complexion. It may complement professional care for concerns such as visible fine lines and uneven-looking texture. A typical session takes approximately 10 to 30 minutes. Individual results can vary.
What is a Cryoskin Facial?
A Cryoskin Facial is a noninvasive aesthetic treatment that uses specialized temperature-controlled technology. It is designed to support a firmer, smoother, and more refreshed-looking facial appearance. A session typically takes approximately 20 to 40 minutes.
What is Cryoskin Body?
Cryoskin Body is a noninvasive aesthetic treatment that uses temperature-controlled technology as part of a personalized body-contouring approach. Sessions typically take approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the targeted area and your individual plan.
What areas can Cryoskin Body address?
Cryoskin Body can be applied to targeted areas depending on your goals and whether the service is appropriate for the area you would like to address. I can discuss suitable treatment areas during your appointment.
Is there downtime after Cryoskin treatments?
Cryoskin Facials and Cryoskin Body generally require little to no downtime, so most clients can return to their usual activities afterward. Individual experiences can vary.
